MainStream Media in Music

  These days with technology advancing to new heights never imagined many new or "hidden information" hides right behind media such as music, advertisments and tv. Knowledgeabe information on many things like health care, new and arising poroblems in the U.S and many other things are flown over the airwaves for all to hear.     I've always been a huge music fan so I wanted to be able to connect mainstream media with music and it was simple when I thought about how many songs the radios are not permitted to play because of certain slang or profanity, mostly mentioning drugs and violence. One big example of this is the use of  marijuana and how its largely promoted in mainstream media, especially music. Medical marijuana currently is legalized in ten states, in most of these states large groups of people often come together to celebrate holidays or social gatherings where music plays loudly and marijuana is frequently used as a form of entertainment. The issue over legalizing it in other states is being avidly promoted by top actors and rap artists such as Lil Wayne, Ashor Roth and Megan Fox where stars are openly admitting to the use of the drug.
